Accounts Payable Team Leader

Leading, motivating and developing an established Accounts Payable team. Creating a positive, engaged and motivating team culture. Ensuring consistency, accuracy and compliance across Purchase Ledger and Subcontract Ledger activities. Managing workloads, priorities and performance to ensure excellent service delivery, and set expectations. Supporting the timely processing of high-volume invoices and month-end activities. Building positive relationships with suppliers and colleagues across the business, to achieve required time frames.

Overseeing CIS compliance and monthly HMRC submissions. Identifying opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls and increase efficiency. Coaching team members to support their development and long-term success. What you will bring :
Proven experience leading or supervising an Accounts Payable team. A solid understanding of Accounts Payable, Purchase Ledger controls and associated financial processes. A genuine passion for developing and motivating people, and driving continuous improvement. The ability to bring consistency, structure and accountability to team operations. Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to stakeholder management.

Experience of ERP systems and strong Excel skills. Knowledge of CIS would be advantageous but is not essential. Additional Benefits include:
