£44,000 to £54,000 per annum (DOE) | Permanent, full time
Truro
A leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Truro is looking for an ACA or ACCA qualified Business Services Assistant Manager to review accounts assignments, manage client relationships and support the junior team.

What's the day to day of the role:
- Reviewing and managing accounts assignments across a varied client portfolio
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients and maintaining those relationships
- Supporting managers and partners on complex assignments and technical matters
- Overseeing workflow so assignments are delivered on time and to standard
- Supervising and coaching junior and semi senior members of the team
- Contributing to business development and identifying opportunities to add client value
Required skills and qualifications:
- ACA or ACCA qualified with a solid background in accounts preparation and review
- At least four years' experience within a UK Practice environment
- Proven experience managing client relationships and delivering to deadlines
- Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting standards and financial reporting
- Confident client facing manner, with the ambition to progress into a management role
