Management Accountant - Payroll

Our client, a well-respected company in the veterinary care sector, is currently seeking a Management Accountant - Payroll to join their team on a contract basis. The role is pivotal in ensuring efficient payroll operations and management accounting, providing vital support to the finance department.

• Overseeing and managing payroll processes to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Preparing and maintaining payroll records and reports
• Conducting detailed payroll reconciliations and ensuring discrepancies are addressed promptly
• Collaborating with HR and management to resolve payroll-related issues
• Preparing management accounts and financial reports as required
• Analysing financial data to provide insights into payroll trends and costs
• Ensuring compliance with relevant tax and employment legislation
• Assisting with budget preparation and forecasts related to payroll

• Experience in payroll management and accounting
• Strong knowledge of payroll systems and accounting software
• Understanding of tax regulations and employment law
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills
