Job Title: Administration Assistant
Actual Annual Salary: £13,855 - £15,102 (Based on hours and working weeks)
Full Time Equivalent Salary: £25,941 - £28,275 (CLF Grade
B) Based on 37 hours per week, all year round.
Contract Type: Fixed-Term, Maternity Leave, Term Time only plus inset days and 5 additional days
Contract Length: Fixed until 20th April 2027 or until the postholder returns
Additional workdays required during school closure period (separate to INSET days): 5 days
Hours: Part Time, 22.5 hours (Wednesday-Friday 7.5 hours per day)

Are you an organised, friendly and proactive individual looking to make a real difference within a busy school environment? We are seeking a dedicated Administration Assistant (Level
1) to join our team and play a vital role in supporting the smooth day‑to‑day running of our academy.
Working closely with staff, students, parents and visitors, you will provide high‑quality administrative and clerical support across a variety of areas from reception duties and handling enquiries to maintaining accurate records, supporting key school activities, and ensuring our administration function runs efficiently and professionally.

About YouYou will have:
- Good literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE English & Maths or equivalent).
- Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
- Confident using IT and office equipment.
- Organised, accurate and able to manage a busy workload.
- Able to work professionally with staff, students and visitors.
- Calm, flexible and approachable with a positive attitude.

Waycroft Academy is a two‑form entry primary school, with nursery provisions for both two and three‑year‑olds, located in Stockwood, Bristol. We have extensive grounds that provide our children with many opportunities for outdoor learning.
