Job Summary
Following some changes within the team we are looking for a Facilities Operations Support Officer. We're looking for a hands‑on, reliable person to help keep our spaces running smoothly. This role covers facilities support, logistics, general maintenance, and occasional support with our fleet of vehicles. Whilst the role is part of the central Facilities team based at our Head Office in Osprey Court;
it will involve working / liaising with co‑owners across all 9 of our bases to support the effective management of our services in delivering excellent patient care across BNSSG. Applicants must be over the age of 25 for insurance purposes. Previous applicants need not reapply. Sponsorship not available for this role.
- Handle day‑to‑day building maintenance and small repairs
- Assemble furniture and install fixtures or equipment
- Carry out minor painting and decorating
- Set up, move, and reset furniture, equipment, and spaces
- Respond to maintenance requests quickly and safely
- Support the upkeep of company vehicles as needed (coordination of servicing vehicles, MOTs, tyre changes, or moving vehicles between locations)
- Keep tools, equipment, work areas, and vehicles tidy and safe
- Spot potential issues early and flag larger problems to the facilities Coordinator

As Facilities Support, your role as a member of the central Facilities Team also involves supporting day‑to‑day functions at Head Office, and liaising with external agencies.
Person Specification Essential- Practical, can‑do attitude with good problem‑solving skills
- Comfortable with hands‑on, physical work (lifting, fixing, assembling)
- Organised, dependable, flexible, and able to work independently
- A valid driver’s licence is essential. You must be over the age of 25 to apply for this position.
- Some experience in facilities, maintenance, or a similar role
