We need a project coordinator to work as part of the alliance team to coordinate the smooth running of projects/programmes to enable successful delivery of the ambitions of the Long-Term Plan for Cancer.

Main duties of the job

Core Project Support Skills
  • Organisation & Time Management

Managing multiple tasks, deadlines, and stakeholders.

Prioritising effectively and maintaining structured project documentation.

Scheduling & Planning
  • Scheduling & Planning

Maintaining project plans, calendars, and meeting schedules.

Tracking milestones and dependencies.

Document Control & Version Management
  • Document Control & Version Management

Managing shared folders, templates, controlled documents, and audit-ready records.

Communication & Collaboration
  • Stakeholder Communication

Clear written and verbal communication: emails, updates, meeting notes.

Coordinating between project teams, suppliers, clients, and managers.

Meeting Coordination
  • Meeting Coordination

Preparing agendas, minutes, and action logs.

Data, Reporting & Systems
  • Reporting & Dashboard Skills

Creating RAG status updates, trackers, and reports in Excel or project tools.

Technical & Software Skills
  • Technical & Software Skills

Strong Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, conditional formatting).

Tools like MS Project, Planner, SharePoint, Teams, Power BI, or equivalent systems.

Risk, Issue & Change Support

Keeping RAID logs up-to-date.

Change Control Understanding

Tracking change requests and ensuring proper approvals.
