Donor and Planning Administrator

Responsibilities

• Communicate clearly with donors and colleagues via SMS, phone or email while maintaining confidentiality.
• Provide accurate advice and respond to enquiries in a professional and empathetic way.
• Manage short‑term cancellations, selecting appropriate donors based on blood group priorities.
• Maintain accurate records of cancellations and produce clear handover reports.
• Liaise daily with operational teams to gather data and ensure accurate planning decisions.
• Support planning activities including venue changes and appointment management.
• Assist with reporting trends, risks, and performance data, escalating where appropriate.
• Provide administrative support to the wider Donor Performance & Planning team.
• Ensure all work is completed accurately, following SOPs, quality standards, and health and safety policies.

From handling enquiries to coordinating cancellations and supporting critical stock levels, your work will directly contribute to saving and improving lives.
