The Secretarial Administrative Line Manager is responsible for the line management of administrative and clerical staff and the day to day running of administrative functions. Based in our BRISTOL OFFICE.

Specifically, the post holder will be required:

  • To ensure that all admin and clerical staff are managed appropriately and within the parameters set by the Administration Services Manager / Operations Manager.
  • To ensure that the work of administrative team is closely aligned to the clinical service strategy and the needs of the Trust’s strategic agenda and direction.
  • To ensure that the administrative services function effectively on a day to day basis, ensuring that referral targets are maintained & appointment slots are effectively utilised & trust targets are met.
  • To support, manage and motivate the administrative workforce, focusing on the needs and experience of patients.
  • To promote a culture of continuous improvement and share this knowledge across the trust to improve efficiencies, ensure high standards of patient care and drive down costs.
  • To ensure efficient administrative processes and pathways are maintained, developed, implemented and monitored.

Working Pattern: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week
