Our client, a reputable family-run independent automotive accident repair centre based in Bristol, has an immediate vacancy for a Vehicle Damage Assessor. Monday to Friday working hours, 8:30am to 5:00pm (40-hour week)

Duties of a Vehicle Damage Assessor:

Produce manual and computerised estimates in line with insurer and customer requirements
Ensure vehicle repairs are carried out efficiently, maintaining profitability
Maintain detailed records of all estimates, identifying and managing unauthorised work
Secure authorisation for work outside standard estimates and follow up on outstanding approvals
Liaise with the bodyshop team to communicate repair specifications clearly
Advise on vehicles deemed as “total loss” in accordance with insurance and company policies
Adhere to all applicable Health and Safety regulations
