Are you an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor/Estimator looking for a new challenge within a reputable and established accident repair centre?
Our client, a family-run independent automotive accident repair business operating in East Bristol since 1972, is seeking a dedicated Vehicle Damage Assessor/Estimator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with some of the most prestigious vehicles on the road and grow your career in a supportive environment.
Benefits:- Competitive starting salary between £40,000 and £47,000 per annum, negotiable based on experience

- Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm, 40-hour week
- Work within a long-established, reputable Bristol-based business
- Prepare manual and computerised vehicle repair estimates accurately, ensuring compliance with insurer and customer requirements
- Maintain comprehensive records of all estimates, identifying unauthorised work and gaining prior authorisation before proceeding
- Liaise with the bodyshop team to communicate work requirements and ensure seamless workflow
- Advise on total loss claims and liaise with insurance companies accordingly
- Uphold all health and safety regulations within the workshop environment
- Follow up on unauthorised estimates and report reasons to management
Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering professional and transparent assessments - Adhere to industry standards, including health and safety policies, at all times
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor/Estimator
- Ideally, Audatex trained/qualified
- Experience with Autoflow Bodyshop Management System is advantageous
- Manufacturer training and ATA accreditation are desirable but not essential
- Full UK driving licence with minimal points
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
