The Junior Production Coordinator Apprenticeship is an entry‑level role that offers a pathway into production management at one of the world’s leading broadcasters. No media experience or qualifications are required – just enthusiasm and problem‑solving skills.

Key Responsibilities & Impact
  • Coordinate travel, accommodation, dietary requirements and PPE for production team and crew.
  • Assist with shoots, crew bookings and call sheets.
  • Work on location and across BBC offices.
  • Complete post‑production paperwork for programmes and international versions on Silver mouse alongside the other PC and PMAs.
  • Learn best practices in production management, health & safety and compliance.

On successful completion you may apply for roles such as Production Management Assistant, Production Secretary or Production Coordinator.

Eligibility Criteria
  • Be 18 years old or over by the time the apprenticeship begins in September 2026.
  • Have lived in the UK continuously for the last three years prior to the start.
  • Be legally eligible to work full‑time in the UK for the entire duration.
  • Not currently enrolled in another apprenticeship programme.
  • For candidates under 19 at the start, you must have achieved Maths and English GCSE at Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent); if not, you will need to achieve Functional Skills Level 2 before the end‑point assessment.
