Data Analyst
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Fleet Analyst to join our Fleet Team in Avonbank, Bristol. Acting as the primary point of contact for all analytical and data-driven matters, you will play a key role in managing and reporting on the fleet vehicle build programme, supporting budget planning, and providing oversight across the full capital expenditure lifecycle. This position is critical to regulatory reporting for OFGEM and involves close engagement with manufacturers, converters, and suppliers to ensure delivery against key milestones.
MainResponsibilities
- Manage and report on the fleet vehicle build programme
- Support financial reporting and analysis for fleet Capex budgets, including vehicle capital planning and accurate forecasting and budget planning (ED2/3/4)
- Provide regulatory planning and reporting, particularly environmental and sustainability data submissions
- Develop and maintain dashboards and analytical tools to monitor vehicle build performance and capital spend
- Partner with vehicle suppliers, manufacturers, and converters, producing and monitoring performance insights and escalating delivery standards as required
- Deliver clear insights to support decision-making and strategic investment across the Fleet function.
- Support data governance, ensuring compliance with internal and external reporting requirements
- Support any other Fleet reporting requirements for the Head of Fleet, Fleet Build & Innovation Manager, and Fleet Administration Manager
We’re looking for someone who brings strong analytical capability and technical expertise to the role. You should have:
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
, with proficiency in Excel, Power BI
, or similar tools - Technical knowledge in SQL, Python, or other analytical languages
- Experience in data visualisation
, reporting automation
, and building performance dashboards
. - Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
, with the ability to present insights clearly - A solid understanding of data governance and regulatory reporting requirements
While not essential, the following would be an advantage:
- A degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science
, or a related field - Previous experience in fleet or transport analytics
- Knowledge of predictive modelling or machine learning techniques
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms
