Job Description: Airbus Operations Limited is seeking a formal and dedicated Supply Officer to join the team in Filton. Operating within the Supply Management department for Landing and Fuel System Equipment, the team serves as the critical link between global suppliers across Europe and the U.S. and Airbus's international production sites. The primary accountability of this role is to ensure a seamless supply of essential components—including landing gears, wheels, brakes, and fuel equipment—thereby preventing any disruption to Airbus's manufacturing schedules and aircraft programs.

- Manage a diverse supplier portfolio and oversee the flow of components to ensure timely delivery in line with MRP demand, including ordering data, forecasting requirements, and initiating purchase orders.
- Coordinate between suppliers and internal customers to maintain operational continuity, managing parasitic flow and missing parts.
- Supply Chain optimization: monitor delivery of correct parts in precise quantities and locations by managing purchase orders and optimizing safety stock, batch sizes, and reorder points.
- Supplier Relationship Management: maintain first-tier relationships through daily interfaces, performance reviews, and feedback to ensure alignment with delivery and quality standards.
- Operational Monitoring and KPIs: use process performance measures and KPIs (e.g., Missing Parts, VMI Level of Service, stock levels) to track efficiency and analyze MRP exception messages.
- Issue Resolution and Troubleshooting: support quality assurance and administrative functions by resolving issues related to reordering after scrap/rejections, troubleshooting goods receipts, and managing technical or invoice discrepancies.
- Communication and Escalation: provide regular delivery forecasts to internal customers and escalate as needed to prevent late supply from impacting production schedules.
