Position: Business Development Manager - England - £Highly Competitive Package

A data-led, highly personalised, multichannel customer communications company is on the search for a Business Development Manager. Many of the best know brands in the UK trust our client with their customer acquisition and retention marketing communication campaigns.

You would be joining a highly sophisticated business that is at the forefront of its marketplace. This is a very ambitious business set to see significant growth in the coming years.

Job Description

The role involves responsibility for identifying new business opportunities and business partners to generate new income for the company. This will be done by research, networking, arranging appointments and putting together presentations aimed at attracting new clients.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Identify new sales opportunities.
  • Follow up leads that have been identified by our lead generation activity.
  • Pitch our client’s services to prospective clients.
  • Research organisations and individuals to identify new leads and potential new markets.
  • Research other companies’ needs and learn who makes decisions about purchasing.
  • Contact potential clients to establish rapport and set up meetings.
  • Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events.
  • Develop quotes and proposals.
  • Work closely with our Client Services Team to develop existing accounts.
  • Data entry into the company’s CRM.
  • Work with management to identify businesses/market sectors that would benefit from our services.
Key Requirements
  • Socially adept.
  • Good with numbers.
  • Strong communication and IT fluency.
  • Manage objections and communicate the benefits and advantages of working with our client.
  • Creative thinking to solve business challenges.
  • The ability to handle pressure and work to targets.
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills.
  • Candidates must have experience developing business within the printing industry.
