Salary: £29,365.19 per annum,

Weekly hours: 37.5 hour per week

Location: Edinburgh House, Harding Road

We are looking for an organised, motivated and detail-focused Business Development & Project Assistant to join our Business Development Team.

This is an exciting opportunity to help secure funding that enables us to improve the lives of children, young people and communities. You will support the identification of funding opportunities, contribute to bid writing, and assist with project monitoring and reporting.

What You’ll Do
  • Research and identify grant funding opportunities.
  • Maintain a pipeline of funding prospects and bid tracking systems.
  • Support the preparation and submission of high-quality funding applications.
  • Gather and analyse information to strengthen funding bids.
  • Assist with project monitoring, evaluation and funder reporting.
  • Work closely with managers and colleagues across the organisation to support service development and funding success.
  • Help ensure funded projects meet reporting requirements and performance targets.
What We’re Looking For

We are seeking an organised and motivated individual with experience of supporting funding applications, bid writing or similar project work. You will have strong written and research skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines. Experience in fundraising, business development or funder reporting would be an advantage.
