Senior Rating Surveyor - Business Rates

Beach Baker is pleased to be partnering with a leading commercial property consultancy to recruit a Rating Surveyor into their highly regarded Bristol-based Business Rates team.

• Advising clients on business rates mitigation strategies
• Inspecting and valuing a range of commercial properties
• Managing Check, Challenge, Appeal cases
• Negotiating with the VOA and local authorities
• Building client relationships and supporting new business opportunities

• MRICS qualified (or working towards)
• Experience with in business rates / rating (private practice or VOA)
• Strong understanding of rating legislation and appeal processes
• Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills
• Motivated, commercially aware, and keen to develop
