We are excited to be recruiting for a Rents Support Administrator to join our Rents team.


This is an important role that provides day-to-day administrative support which supports the organisation in maximising its rental income which directly enables us to continue delivering high-quality support to all the young people we support.

How we work
At 1625ip our work is rooted in Psychologically Informed Environments (PIE) and Trauma-Informed Practice (TIP). Our Psychologically Informed Framework shapes how we build relationships, use our spaces, and support young people. This means we prioritise safety, trust, collaboration, and understanding the impact of trauma in every interaction. You don’t need prior experience in PIE or TIP to apply - we’ll support you to learn and develop these approaches in the role.

What you will be doing:

  • Managing or working towards managing the rent accounts for a small patch list.
  • Supporting direct colleagues in addressing issues or concerns with rent accounts.
  • With empathy and commitment, leading on engaging and managing rents accounts for young people who have left our service.
  • Through great teamwork and attention to detail, providing administrative support for the rents team.
  • By being efficient, well organised and consistent, supporting the rents team in maximise income for the organisation.

You will be in the Rents Team and your line manager will be our Senior Rents Officer.

Contract details:

  • Hours per week: 30 (this represents 0.8 FTE)
  • Contract type: Permanent
  • Pay: £26,824 - £28,142 (pro rata based on 0.8 FTE)

    NOTE:

    This is the current salary and does not include the NJC pay award that is currently pending. Presently, the Government / National Employers have made a pay offer of a 3.3% pay increase. Once an agreement is reached, the relevant % uplift will be backdated to the employment start date.
  • The location: 40/41 Old Market Street. There is flexibility and support for hybrid working following the successful completion of the probation period. After the probation period, employees are expected to work from the office two days per week, with the remaining days available…
