A leading, highly reputable Main Contractor that undertake a range of projects within multiple sectors have an excellent opportunity for a Trainee / Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their interiors division on permanent basis.

The company have been around for a very long time and have a great reputation within the industry. They turnover circa £50m and deliver projects in London, as well as the Home Counties. They carry out a range of work including internal and external refurbishments, fit-out and alteration projects, between £100,000 and £5m in value, with a range of public and private clients.

They have a number of specialist divisions within the business focussing on specific sectors. They are looking for a Trainee / Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their busy interiors division which undertakes commercial and retail refurbishment projects from £250k to £5m in value.

They have some excellent high-end retail clients, and with a lot of projects currently ongoing and in the pipeline, and are looking to strengthen their commercial team by bringing in a Trainee / Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial team. They are looking for somebody who has at least 2 years’ + experience working for a reputable main contractor, ideally working on interior projects, and a Degree or other relative qualification.

Criteria:

• Degree qualified or other relative qualification
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience working for a reputable main contractor
• Ideally have experience working on commercial / retail interior refurbishment projects
• Good commercial awareness and astuteness
• Career focused and driven to continuously learn and improve
• Strong communication skills
• Good computer literacy
• Able to commute to Hertfordshire
