Position: Supply Chain Specialist (Piping Bulks)

About the role

Balfour Beatty Kilpatrick are recruiting on behalf of The MEH Alliance
, We're looking for a skilled Supply Chain Specialist – Bulks (Piping) to support the delivery of the Sizewell C project
, one of the UK’s largest and most complex infrastructure programmes.

This role will play a key part in delivering value through effective procurement, ensuring a robust and high‑performing supply chain to support project success.

You’ll be part of a high‑profile nuclear infrastructure project, working within a collaborative alliance environment that promotes excellence, innovation and continuous improvement.

Location: Bristol (Aztec West) – minimum 2 days per week on site

What you'll be doing

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and refinement of procurement strategies aligned to project needs.
  • Lead the end‑to‑end ITT (Invitation to Tender) process for services and equipment.
  • Develop and implement long‑term contracting strategies.
  • Maintain strong stakeholder engagement across SZC and MEH teams.
  • Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks while maintaining market awareness.
  • Develop supplier relationships to enhance quality, cost efficiency and delivery.
Who we're looking for
  • Proven experience in a senior procurement or supply chain role.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement and contract management processes.
  • Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Degree or relevant professional qualification preferred.
  • Strong team player with a proactive, solutions‑focused mindset.
  • Able to obtain a security clearance.
