The Opportunity
A fantastic opportunity for a Junior Estimator to join a growing specialist contractor delivering technically complex projects across industrial, manufacturing and controlled environment sectors.
Working alongside an experienced pre-construction team, you'll gain exposure to clean rooms, cold stores, fire-rated environments, partitioning systems and data centre projects. This role would suit someone looking to build a long-term career within estimating and pre-construction while working within a business experiencing significant growth.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for:
* Assisting with preparation of estimates and tender submissions.
* Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documents.
* Supporting take-offs and quantity measurement.
* Obtaining supplier and subcontractor quotations.
* Assisting with cost planning and value engineering exercises.
* Supporting bid submissions and tender reviews.
* Liaising with operational and commercial teams.
* Visiting projects and clients where required.
About You
* Experience with in construction estimating or quantity surveying preferred.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Good communication and organisational skills.
* Ambitious and motivated to develop a career within estimating.
* Construction-related qualification advantageous.
