Chartered Building Surveyor – Project & Professional Services (50/50 Split)

We are working with a leading, partner-led property consultancy to appoint a Chartered Building Surveyor into a key position within their expanding team. This is a confidential opportunity offering a balanced mix of project and professional work, with genuine flexibility to shape your career direction over time.

The Role You will initially operate on an approximately 50/50 split between project and professional work, with the opportunity to gradually bias your workload towards your preferred specialism.

The role will include:
Project-led work:

Contract administration across refurbishment and maintenance schemes
Project management duties from inception through to completion
Stakeholder coordination and on-site delivery oversight

Professional services:

Technical due diligence (TDD) for acquisitions and disposals
Dilapidations (landlord and tenant)
Building surveys and defect analysis
Schedules of condition and pre-acquisition reporting

You will also have exposure to heritage and listed building projects, offering the chance to develop specialist expertise in a highly regarded and technically interesting area of work.
About You
Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS or equivalent)
Strong grounding across both professional and project disciplines
Experience in dilapidations, TDD, and contract administration
Strong client-facing and communication skills
Detail-oriented with solid technical judgement
Interest in heritage or complex assets beneficial
