Job Title:
Gateman - Housing Construction Site

Location:
Telford

Job Type: Temporary

We are currently looking for a Gateman to join a new build housing development in Telford. This is a key position on site, responsible for managing access, maintaining site security, and helping ensure the safety of everyone entering and exiting the project.

Duties Include:
  • Manning the site gate and controlling access for vehicles, staff, and visitors

  • Signing in and out deliveries and logging vehicle movements

  • Performing regular perimeter checks and reporting security issues

  • Assisting with general site tidiness and keeping the entrance clear and safe

  • Communicating clearly with site management and delivery drivers

  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures at all times

Requirements:
  • Valid CSCS card (essential)

  • Previous experience as a Gateman or in a similar construction site role

  • Strong awareness of health and safety protocols

  • Professional and polite manner

  • Own PPE (boots, hard hat, high-visibility vest/jacket)
