Job Summary
We are working with a well‑established civil engineering and groundworks contractor, delivering projects for leading Tier 1 and regional contractors. Works include groundworks, Section 278 works, and infrastructure for commercial developments, typically valued between £500K-£3M.
RoleDue to a healthy balance of live projects and future pipelined work, they seek an experienced Site Engineer to manage setting out, quality control, subcontractor supervision, and site administration.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out and manage setting out duties
- Ensure quality control and compliance on site
- Supervise subcontractors and site activities
- Maintain accurate site records and documentation
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer in civil engineering/groundworks
- Strong knowledge of groundworks and infrastructure projects
- Good organisational and communication skills
