As a Construction Industry Placement Lead
, you will play a key role in sourcing and delivering high-quality construction industry placements for learners.
In this role you will engage directly with construction employers to develop placement opportunities, while supporting learners to access those opportunities and succeed in the workplace.
Acting as the link between industry and education, you will build strong employer partnerships and ensure learners gain meaningful, real-world experience that supports progression into employment, including apprenticeships.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Building relationships with construction employers to secure industry placements
- Identifying and developing new placement opportunities
- Matching learners to suitable placements and preparing them for the workplace
- Supporting learners and employers throughout the placement
- Monitoring progress to ensure successful outcomes
- Ensuring all placements meet safeguarding, health and safety, and DfE requirements
This is a fixed-term, full-time role working 37 hours per week based across Oxfordshire. The contract ends in March 2027.
We allow hybrid working and your base can be flexible depending on your location.
What do you need to be successful?
We are looking for someone with experience in employer engagement, recruitment, sales or a customer-facing role, with the confidence to build relationships and influence employers. You will be proactive, organised and target-driven, with strong communication skills and the ability to manage a pipeline of construction industry placement opportunities. Experience or knowledge of the construction industry would be beneficial, but not essential.
Most importantly, you will be motivated by creating opportunities for learners and helping them progress into employment.
