Project Manager; Construction

Position: Project Manager (Construction)
An established regional main contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a £10m+ industrial refurbishment project in Bristol.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality commercial, industrial and refurbishment projects across the South West.

The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the safe, successful and profitable delivery of this significant project, working closely with the client, commercial team, site team and supply chain partners.

The Role

* Full responsibility for the delivery of a £10m+ industrial refurbishment project.

* Managing and coordinating site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.

* Ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme and within budget.

* Developing and maintaining the construction programme.

* Managing quality, progress and client expectations.

* Chairing progress meetings and providing regular project updates.

* Working closely with the Quantity Surveyor to monitor project performance and commercial outcomes.

* Managing risks, issues and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.

* Driving high standards of health & safety, quality and workmanship.

Requirements

* Proven experience delivering projects as a Project Manager for a main contractor.

* Previous experience delivering industrial, commercial or refurbishment projects.

* Strong knowledge of construction processes, programming and project delivery.

* Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.

* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and build strong working relationships.

* SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.

* Full UK driving licence.
