A highly respected and growing independent property and construction consultancy is seeking a Senior Building Surveyor to join its expanding Bristol team. The Role
As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will play a key role in delivering a broad range of professional and project-based services to an established portfolio of clients.
Responsibilities will include:
Delivering professional building surveying services across commercial, industrial, education, healthcare, and public sector properties.
Undertaking building surveys, defect diagnosis, dilapidations, schedules of condition, and technical due diligence.
Managing refurbishment, alteration and maintenance projects from inception through to completion.
Preparing specifications, tender documentation, and contract administration duties.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
Supporting junior team members and contributing to their professional development.
Assisting with business development activities and helping to identify new opportunities.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
Is MRICS qualified (or approaching qualification with significant relevant experience).
Has a proven background within Building Surveying consultancy.
Possesses strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.
Is confident managing client relationships and leading projects.
Demonstrates excellent communication and report-writing skills.
Enjoys working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Holds a full UK driving licence.
