The Opportunity

Join our 2027 Graduate Programme as a Graduate Cost Consultant in our Bristol office. As part of our growing and dynamic commercial team, you will collaborate with Project Managers and clients to deliver sound financial, contractual, and commercial management—with exciting expansion and focus across the energy sector as well as key infrastructure projects.

About

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a developing team where you can build your career, take on new challenges, and gain hands‑on commercial experience across the full project lifecycle. Working alongside experienced Cost Consultants and Project Managers, you will provide vital commercial support to both Stantec and our external clients.

Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Cost Reporting & Financial Management: Assisting with ongoing cost reporting, budget tracking, and financial monitoring across live projects.

  • Contract Administration & Advice: Providing commercial and contractual support and advice to project teams to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.

  • Procurement & Tendering: Supporting the procurement process, including preparing tender documentation, evaluating contractor proposals, and assisting with vendor management.

  • Estimating & Measurement: Assisting senior colleagues in producing accurate cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and cost plans during early project stages.

  • Change Management: Monitoring project variations, evaluating compensation events, and supporting the management of commercial scope changes.

  • Stakeholder

    Collaboration:

    Working closely with integrated project teams, clients, and supply chain partners to deliver value‑for‑money solutions.

About You
