About the job Main Responsibilities
  • Ensure that there are effective processes in place to enable efficient and uniform assessment work and to produce high quality assessment experiences for all stakeholders
  • Respond to enquiries through various platforms including Zendesk, email and phone calls within SLA
  • Ensure that assessment-related queries are acknowledged and dealt with promptly, efficiently and courteously within SLA
  • Provide technical support to participants and associates and resolve user issues with the ePortfolio system
  • Set up assessment contracts and purchase orders for associates
  • Track participant progress, providing support and encouragement through to completion of programme.
  • Maintain accurate records of assignment submissions, dates, and outcomes; deferrals; extensions; withdrawals; and assessor changes
  • Process and check assessment paperwork and uploaded documents to ensure completeness and adherence to requirements.
  • Monitor the marking process and ensure all assessors are complying with assessment timescales
  • Communicate deadline information to participants and ensure adherence to the assessment timescale, in line with the EYSEN delivery plan
  • Liaise with the awarding body regarding candidate outcomes
  • Provide candidates with certification and any other appropriate feedback within the stated time frames
  • Manage data and produce reports relating to assessment progress, outcomes, success rates and any other data relevant to assessment
  • Check and approve invoices for assessors and any other assessment-related costs
  • Work across CAPS team with processing applications to ensure completeness and eligibility, responding to event and group enquiries and any other CAPS application and on programme support as required / agreed with line manager
  • Undertake any other tasks as appropriate and agreed with line manager

  • Have proven customer service-related experience
  • Possess an excellent customer service manner, both written and spoken
  • Have the ability to organise, plan and prioritise time and tasks effectively
  • Work well under pressure with the ability to deal with issues as they arise
  • Be highly competent using MS Office and Teams
  • Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail
  • Highly numerate and literate
  • Creative, innovative and able to solve problems
