CAD Technician (AutoCAD / Construction Design)

£40,000-£45,000 + Training + Progression + Long-Term Development + Company Benefits

Are you a CAD Technician with AutoCAD experience from a construction, steelwork, architectural, civil engineering or building products background, looking for an opportunity to work on large-scale construction projects with a market-leading specialist contractor? In this role, you will work closely with clients, project teams and site personnel to produce accurate AutoCAD drawings and technical designs for construction projects. You will take projects from initial design through to completion, ensuring drawings are delivered accurately and on time while supporting the wider delivery team.

This role would suit a CAD Technician, AutoCAD Technician, Design Technician, Architectural Technician or Construction Designer looking for a long‑term opportunity within a specialist construction environment.

• Produce and amend AutoCAD drawings for construction projects
• Interpret technical specifications and client requirements
• Liaise with clients, contractors and internal project teams
• Prepare accurate project documentation and design information
• Support project delivery from design through to installation
• Ensure drawings comply with industry and company standards

• AutoCAD experience
• Background within construction, engineering, steelwork or building products
• Strong attention to detail and technical drawing ability
• Confident communicating with clients and project teams
• Looking for long‑term progression and development
• Based within commuting distance of Avonmouth
