A well-established, design-led architectural practice is seeking a Part 1 Architectural Assistant to join their Bristol team. The practice works across a broad range of sectors including education, residential, healthcare, commercial, and public sector projects, delivering high-quality schemes from concept through to completion.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Part 1 Architectural Assistant to develop their experience within a collaborative and supportive environment, gaining exposure across a variety of projects and working alongside experienced architects and designers.

Key Responsibilities for this Part 1 Architectural Assistant role:

• Support the delivery of architectural projects across various RIBA stages

• Assist with the production of design drawings, technical information, and presentation materials

• Prepare drawings, models, and visuals using relevant design software

• Work closely with architects, consultants, and wider project teams to develop coordinated design solutions

• Assist with planning submissions, project documentation, and design development tasks

• Attend site visits, design meetings, and client meetings where required

Requirements for this Part 1 Architectural Assistant role:

• Completed RIBA Part 1 qualification

• Strong design ability with a keen interest in developing within architectural practice

• Good understanding of the RIBA stages and architectural design processes

• Proficiency in relevant design software;
Vectorworks and Revit experience beneficial but not essential

• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team

• Enthusiastic, proactive, and keen to continue progressing their architectural career
