The Bristol Eye Hospital (BEH) at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston Foundation Trust (UHBW) is looking to grow its talented team to drive an ambitious future vision of care across Bristol and Weston.
Applications are warmly invited for a fellowship attached to the Oculoplastics service.
This post is a full‑time position for a period of 12 months, ideally commencing from 5th August 2026. Candidates will be provided with subspecialty training in oculoplastics, lacrimal and orbital surgery.
The post will be based at the BEH with two days a month spent at South Bristol Community Hospital.
Applicants should be at the end of their Specialist Registrar grade or equivalent training and UK candidates should ideally already have CTT. This is a full‑time, fixed‑term post for one year.
It is designed to provide advanced sub‑specialty training in Oculoplastics, Orbital and Lacrimal surgery, with a strong interest in Thyroid Eye disease and good collaborations with dermatology, maxillofacial and ENT surgeons.
The post will support the team of three Oculoplastic Consultants and an oculoplastic nurse specialist.
The successful candidate will complement the specialist registrar and TSC fellow and will be expected to play an active role in the running of the firm.
