Consultant - Emergency Medicine

Applications are invited for a Consultant that specialises in Emergency Medicine to join a busy, innovative and friendly team at a Trust based in the East of England. Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join a team of 5 full time consultants, 7 Specialty doctors, 3 GPVTs, 6 FY2s, 3 Trust Doctors and 2 Educational Clinical Fellows.

The hospital is based amidst a beachside setting with easy access to London. In the department a major redecorating programme has been completed, with dedicated resuscitation bays, short stay unit, GP stream and an ENP service.

You will be surrounded by natural beauty, beautiful beaches and a rich array of accommodation options.

The successful candidate must have the following:

- Full GMC registration with GMC and on the specialist register or CCT within 6 months of interview.
- Wide experience in all aspects of Emergency Medicine
- Understanding of the role of research in Emergency Medicine
- ALS, ATLS and Paediatric Life support provider

Additional Information

- 10 PA's comprising of 7.5 direct care sessions and 2.5 SPAs.
- 1 in 6 weekends and 1in 5 weekdays on call
