Consultant Breast Radiology

Evolve Staffing Ltd. is actively leading a specialist medical recruitment drive to secure a highly skilled Consultant Breast Radiologist for a prestigious NHS Trust based in Bristol. This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated clinical imaging professional to join a multidisciplinary team (MDT) delivering world-class symptomatic breast imaging and contributing directly to the NHS Breast Screening Programme (NHSBSP). Core Clinical Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert interpretation of screening and symptomatic mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI scans.

• Perform interventional diagnostic procedures, including ultrasound-guided core biopsies, stereotactic biopsies, and wire localisations.

• Play a pivotal role in weekly breast cancer multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings alongside oncologists and breast surgeons.

• Contribute to clinical governance, departmental audits, and the training of Specialist Registrars (SpR) and junior medical staff.

Essential Candidate Requirements:

• Full Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and a valid licence to practise.

• Entry on the GMC Specialist Register for Clinical Radiology, or within 6 months of obtaining a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or CESR.

• FRCR qualification (or equivalent recognised standard) with extensive sub-specialty experience in breast imaging.
