Job Title

Breakfast Club Playworker

Actual Annual Salary
: £12.86 per hour – based on hours and weeks worked.

Full Time Equivalent Salary
: £24,819 – £25,545 (CLF Grade Aii). Based on 37 hours per week, all year round.

Contract Type
:
Fixed Term until 13/02/2025, term‑time only.

Additional Role Information
:
This role will involve working Monday to Friday, 7.30am to school start.

Potential Start Date
: 6 January 2025.

Responsibilities

Support children by helping run a welcoming and fun breakfast club at Wicklea Academy.

Duties include:

  • Facilitating safe and stimulating play activities.
  • Maintaining confidentiality regarding academy matters, students, staff and parents.
  • Working within a team environment and using own initiative.
About You
  • An understanding of the varied needs of children and families.
  • Knowledge of basic food hygiene standards.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality over matters relating to the academy, with students, staff and parents.
  • The skills to provide and facilitate safe and stimulating play activities.
  • Capabilities of working within a team environment but also using own initiative.
