Position: Primary School Teacher

Location: Plymouth

Pay Rate: £150-210 per day

Job Type: Flexible

Start Date: January

The core focus of this position is to provide high-quality classroom cover across different key stages (EYFS, KS1, and KS2) on an ad‑hoc, daily, or short‑term basis. You will be responsible for delivering lessons planned by the class teacher, managing the classroom effectively, and ensuring continuity of learning for all pupils in their absence.

Responsibilities

  • Establish a motivating and secure educational atmosphere.
  • Modify instructional strategies to accommodate the varied needs of learners.
  • Track student development and offer constructive evaluations.

  • Play an active role in promoting a positive school culture and a cooperative team environment.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Enhanced Child DBS on the update service
  • Eligibility to work full time in the UK
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional references with relevant experience and clean records
