Join our purpose‑built Castle fell School in Rudgeway, a state‑of‑the‑art facility catering to children with social, emotional and mental health needs, as well as autism with moderate learning needs.

• Liaise with statutory and non‑statutory agencies, parents/carers and staff on matters of wellbeing, child protection and safeguarding
• Provide support, advice and expertise in safeguarding to the team
• Work as part of the leadership team and report directly to the Head Teacher
• Collaborate with Witherslack Group members across different locations to develop skills and knowledge

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Designated Safeguarding Lead
• Comprehensive portfolio of CPD related to safeguarding and child protection
• Outstanding interpersonal and problem‑resolution skills
• A genuinely empathetic approach and strong communication
• Full UK driving licence
