Heritage Project Trainee - Education, Employment and Training Programme
We are excited to be recruiting for a trainee to join our Heritage team.
Thanks to the National Lottery Heritage Fund we are transforming Kingsley Hall - our charity’s base and Grade 2
* listed building - into a welcoming space that will provide training, support and housing for young people who have been homeless, at risk of homelessness or are leaving care.
We are also delivering a 5-year Activity Programme which explores the history of the building and relevant themes, through creative heritage projects and an Education, Employment and Training, and Volunteer programme providing skills, knowledge and experience linked to the heritage sector.
As part of this exciting project, we are pleased to offer a 6‑month trainee role, with a focus on supporting the development of our Heritage Education, Employment and Training programme.
Please find full details of how to apply via our website in the advert below. The deadline for application submissions is 23:59 on 22 January 2026.
NB We will close applications for this opportunity when we have received sufficient applications, as these posts have previously been very popular.
We are striving to better represent the young people we support and therefore are particularly keen to increase applications from minoritized ethnic groups, and male candidates as they are currently under‑represented in our organisation. We also encourage applications from people with relevant lived experience.
If you need an adjustment to be made to any part of the recruitment process, please let us know as soon as possible.
