Overview

South West/ temporary / £80 - 120 per day

The school is seeking a passionate team player to take on this short-term role, with potential for a long-term placement for the right SEND Learning Support Assistant (LSA). The successful SEND Learning Support Assistant / LSA will bring a new dimension and skill set to this role, be keen to develop their own skills to adapt to the children’s individual needs and have a positive impact on the wider school.

The position will involve working with students across all Key Stages with diagnoses of Autism / ASD, SLD / Severe Learning Difficulties, and challenging behaviours. A proactive thinker with the ability to take control of situations confidently is necessary.

• Work with students across all Key Stages with Autism/ASD, SLD and challenging behaviours
• Adapt approaches to individual needs to support learning and development

• Experience working with children with additional needs / disabilities
• Experience working with students with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) and challenging behaviours
• Ideally Level 2 or 3 CACHE or equivalent
