Pay: £150 – £230 per day (Dependent on experience, equivalent to M1–UPS3)

Contract Type: Fixed-term, maternity cover

Contract Length: Until January 2027 or earlier return of the postholder

Hours: Full-time, 32.5 hours per week

Start Date: As soon as possible

We are seeking an inspirational Teacher of English to deliver high-quality, engaging lessons and inspire a genuine love of language and literature.

You will play a key role in supporting students’ academic progress and wider development through excellent teaching and positive relationships.

You will be:

• A qualified teacher or hold an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Confident delivering high-quality English lessons across relevant key stages
• Experienced in supporting a range of learners, including SEND, pupil premium, looked after children and high-attaining students
• A strong communicator who builds positive relationships with students, staff and families
• Flexible, reflective and keen to contribute to whole-school improvement
• Committed to enrichment and learning beyond the classroom
• Secure in meeting the Teachers’ Standards, with the ability to make a sustained impact

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
