Your opportunity: Support all aspects of site management to ensure a safe, secure, and well‑maintained environment for all students, staff, and visitors.
We are looking for a dependable Premises Assistant to undertake a range of duties from day‑to‑day repairs to waste collection.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintain the security of the premises and its contents, including operation of fire and burglar alarms and key‑holder responsibilities.
- Lighting, heating and cleaning of premises, including maintenance and operation of plant.
- Provide porterage, defined handyperson duties, and other duties arising from the use of premise sharing.
- Support the team and collaborate with the departments and students.
About you: You will demonstrate:
- A basic understanding of health & safety.
- Experience of carrying out planned preventative maintenance.
- Commitment to continuous improvement through professional development, self‑evaluation, and awareness.
- Commitment to and ability to work in a way that promotes the safety and well‑being of children and young people.
