Year 3 Teacher — School

A welcoming Good primary in Bristol seeks a thoughtful Year 3 Teacher to join the KS2 phase on a Part-Time basis from January 2026.

As the Year 3 Teacher you will craft well‑sequenced lessons that build number sense, reading comprehension and confident composition. The Year 3 Teacher will use formative assessment to adapt teaching, run focused booster groups and nurture pupils’ resilience and curiosity. The Part‑Time Year 3 Teacher will collaborate with colleagues at weekly planning meetings and will be invited to lead an enrichment strand despite the Part‑Time arrangement.

The Part‑Time Year 3 Teacher will receive equal access to CPD mentoring and career conversations, attend phase moderation in January 2026 and beyond, and join staff development days scheduled around the January 2026 start. The Part‑Time Year 3 Teacher timetable will be agreed at interview; the school ensures the Part‑Time Year 3 Teacher is fully integrated into the team and supported to make a difference from January 2026.

We are looking for a Year 3 Teacher with QTS and solid KS2 experience. The ideal Year 3 Teacher will be adaptable, reflective and skilled at differentiating to meet diverse needs. The Year 3 Teacher will model excellent behaviour strategies and communicate progress effectively to parents at meetings beginning in January 2026.

This is a Part‑Time Year 3 Teacher vacancy commencing January 2026. Induction and pre‑term planning occur in the weeks leading to January 2026. The Part‑Time Year 3 Teacher will receive ongoing support and mentoring from January 2026 and throughout the spring term.
