Role:
Two Class Teacher roles available. Experience with EYFS required for the EYFS role. Please state preferred position in your application.
- Plan and consistently deliver high quality lessons across relevant key stages.
- Deliver curriculum in your chosen area and consistently teach high quality lessons.
- Support the delivery of the curriculum across all areas of the curriculum.
- Embrace change, motivate colleagues and students, and maintain excellent class management skills.
- Contribute to the school’s high expectations and high performance culture.
- Lead a subject and potentially be part of the Senior Leadership Team.
- Qualified teacher or hold an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Ability to meet the needs of learners from key identified groups, including pupil premium, looked after children, SEND, and high‑attaining students.
- Strong communicator with the ability to embrace change, motivate colleagues, and build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Recognise, value and support opportunities beyond classroom delivery to enrich student experience and learning.
- Empowered to develop your own expert practice and support the development of others.
- Highly competent in all elements of the Teachers Standards, with substantial achievement as an Upper Pay Scale teacher.
- Experience or willingness to work in a single form entry school is essential.
Frome Vale Academy is a single form entry primary academy in Downend, Bristol, with an Outstanding Ofsted rating. The school has a maximum of 30 children per year group and is set within approximately nine acres of grounds, which are used extensively for outside learning and play.
