JOB TITLE - KS1 Teacher

ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Prospero Teaching is seeking an experienced KS1 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive Primary School based in Bristol.

Depending on performance and school requirements, the role may be extended or may lead to a permanent position.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

Bristol
Position: KS1 Teacher
Full-Time:
Monday to Friday
Day Rate: £130 - £180

Hours:

8:20 am - 3:30 pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - mandatory
Proven teaching experience within Key Stage 1
Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and assessment requirements
Up-to-date safeguarding training issued within the last year
Experience supporting children with SEN such as Autism and Speech & Language Needs
Strong communication skills and excellent command of English
Additional experience within childcare, social care, or healthcare is desirable but not essential

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
Provide two professional child‑related references covering the last 2 years
