Tutor for Looked After Children Students

We are a dedicated educational support organisation committed to providing high-quality tutoring for students, especially those in care. Our mission is to create a nurturing and inspiring learning environment where all children can achieve their fullest potential.

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Tutor to join our team, focusing on Looked After Children students. You will play a vital role in supporting their academic progress and personal development, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and achieve success.

• Provide one-on-one and group tutoring sessions in a variety of subjects.
• Tailor lessons to meet individual student needs and learning styles.
• Support students in developing study skills, self-confidence, and academic resilience.
• Collaborate with carers, social workers, and school staff to create a supportive learning environment.
• Monitor and report on student progress.
• Attend training sessions and professional development as required.

• Experience working with Looked After Children or vulnerable student groups.
• Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for making a difference in student's lives.
• Flexibility and adaptability in responding to student needs.
