About the Role and Key Responsibilities
As a Secondary Maths Teacher working with Tailor
EDucation, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils learning and academic development within a secondary school setting in Chatham. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Maths lessons across Key Stages, maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment, and inspiring students to develop confidence and progress in Mathematics. Flexibility, professionalism, and a genuine passion for teaching are essential for success in this role.

The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification (essential)
- Experience teaching Mathematics within a UK secondary school
- Strong subject knowledge with the ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated Maths lessons
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- A passion for supporting the progress, confidence, and wellbeing of all learners
