Overview

At Key Stage 5, Biology, Chemistry and Physics are among our most popular A level subjects, and we are proud to have recently introduced the new AAQ in Medical Science.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Science across Key Stage 3 and 4, with potential for specialist teaching at Key Stage 5.
  • Deliver exceptional extra‑curricular opportunities within and beyond Science.
  • Further contribute to the vision for education across Christchurch.
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people in accordance with our Safeguarding and Child Protection policies.
  • Collaborate with exceptional colleagues to provide students with the very best life chances.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Inspirational and skilled Teacher of Science with a passion for science education.
  • Evidence‑informed commitment to improving pedagogical practices.
  • Aspirational for career development and eager to seize additional career progression opportunities.
