Vacancy: SEND Learning & Care Practitioner – Havering

Protocol Education is partnering with a specialist SEND school in Havering to recruit a SEND Learning & Care Practitioner for a full-time position.
The school supports pupils with MLD, SLD, ASD and PMLD and is seeking compassionate, reliable individuals to join their established team. You will play a vital role in helping students access learning, develop life skills and feel supported in a safe environment. The role may include personal care responsibilities.
School-based experience is not essential. The school values empathy, resilience and a strong willingness to support children with complex needs above all else.
Role Overview :- Monday to Friday
- 8:30am – 3:30pm
- Long-term and permanent opportunities available
- Based in Havering
- Have a positive, nurturing approach
- Build strong relationships with pupils
- Feel comfortable supporting a range of additional needs
- Work effectively as part of a team
Training such as Manual Handling, Hoist use, First Aid or Care qualifications would be beneficial but are not required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
