Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a forward‑thinking secondary school in Northamptonshire to recruit an inspirational and enthusiastic Teacher of Geography
.
This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to develop their practice within a supportive and innovative Humanities department.
The RoleThe successful candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Geography or a related subject
- Have experience teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4
- Demonstrate a strong track record of securing positive outcomes for students
- Be confident using IT to support effective teaching and learning
- Be committed to ongoing professional development
- Be an effective form tutor who recognises the importance of pastoral care
- Share a belief that students make the best progress when teaching is well planned and delivered to a high standard
- Champion a values‑led education and contribute positively to the wider school community
You will be joining a welcoming and collaborative Humanities team that is committed to high standards, creativity, and continuous improvement.
