For September 2026, we require a capable and dynamic individual to lead our Faculty of Maths and Computing as Director of Faculty, and Head of Maths. Both departments perform consistently well and enjoy a high uptake. Our Maths department has a strong record of academic excellence, with past A Level examination results placing them seventh in the country.
The successful applicant will be an outstanding maths teacher with significant experience across Years 7-13. They will be a great communicator and will value the opportunity to develop their leadership skills in this important role s role will require energy, drive, the ability to work in and lead a team, and a positive, engaging personality.
The Director of Faculty will report to the Deputy Head, with the opportunity to lead the academic development of the faculty and work as part of an established and highly effective team, driving academic development across the whole school. It is envisaged that applicants for this post will see this role as a step on their way to a senior management position in due course.
The willingness to contribute to the extracurricular life of this holistic school will be vital.
