JOB TITLE - SEND Teaching Assistant

ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Prospero Teaching is looking for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join a supportive Primary School based in North Bristol.
The school has a dedicated team focused on inclusive practice and offers ongoing CPD opportunities throughout the year.
Depending on performance, the school may look to extend the contract or offer a permanent position.

CONTRACT / POSITION DETAILS

Location:

North Bristol
Position: SEND Teaching Assistant
Full-Time:
Monday to Friday
Day Rate: £90 - £110 per day

Hours:

8:20am - 3:30pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience working within SEN (Autism, Speech & Language Needs, ADHD, SEMH, or similar)
SEN-specific training is required
Experience working within a UK school
Up-to-date safeguarding training (issued within the last year)
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils
Experience supporting children with additional learning needs is highly desirable

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold the Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child workforce DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain a new one
Provide two professional, child-related references covering the last two years
